More than 2,000 primary schools, children's centres, nurseries, preschools, libraries, childminders and prisons took part in Fathers' Story Week 2010
Settings across the UK - and abroad (including a primary school in New York!) - hosted a range of activities designed to help fathers to get more involved in their children's education. Activities included a 'Teatime Tales with Dad' cookery-and-reading session in Kent, a 'Real Men Read' week in Pontypridd, South Wales and a 'Dads Discovery Day' in Hull. In London one nursery planned an exciting week of fun filled events including a session with a professional coach from Arsenal football club. Click on the featured experiences below to read more.
